It has come to my attention that Gordon fans do not like me or my jokes about them. I can understand their frustration. I would be in a foul mood too if I was a Gordon fan.
Do you Earnhardt fans have any idea what it is like to have driver who is third best in his own garage? I am not trying to mean, I am just saying in a race between Hendrick's drivers he would be lucky to get third.
Then when it comes to popularity! Dale Jr is obviously got him beat easily but it must be irritating to be a four time Champ and half owner of a team whose driver, Jimmie's Johnson, gets more fan support.
When you think about it, Jeff doesn't whine near as much as a lot of women would if in his place.
For that I commend him and wish him a safe Daytona while he pushes Dale Jr to the front for Earnhardt's first of many victories this year.

I'm also sure that they are very nervous about Gordon being able to hang onto the wheel this year. I have heard he is a big fan now of that new lubricant AstroGlide! I know that Jeffy and Jimmy like to have those private meetings before the races. If I was a fan of theirs. I would be very nervous about them not washing all of it off their hands and wrecking all the time this year.
I think thats what happened to The Rainbow Hobbit at Watkin's Glen last year.
