You can forget about Dale Earnhardt Jr. getting behind the wheel of a Honda-powered Dallara at Texas.
Prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Richmond, Va., Earnhardt said his conscience wouldn't let him do it.
"I wouldn't be able to do it, my conscience wouldn't let me," Earnhardt said. "If they offered me more money, my conscience wouldn't let me feel comfortable with doing it. I know his intentions are well and we had that discussion with the billboard thing and I totally understand what his approach is advertising now. "
Gossage, president of Texas Motor Speedway, had offered $100,000 to Earnhardt if he raced at the IndyCar Bombardier 550k on June 7.
After joking that Gossage "thinks I'm a cheap date, I guess," Earnhardt also said he wouldn't be opposed to getting behind the wheel of an IndyCar some day, but under more controlled conditions first

Dale Jr is wrecked by Kyle Busch at Richmond
Dale Jr finally got the break he needed to end his win less streak but it was spoiled by two young drivers who race with only one thing on their mind - themselves.
With eighteen laps to go at Richmond, Denny Hamlin reported a tire going down while Kyle Busch and Dale Jr battled for second. He slowed considerably allowing Earnhardt to pass him high while Kyle Busch went low.
Then for a couple of laps they fought for second. That fight didn't last long as the 88 liked it's first taste of fresh air.
Dale Jr stretched his lead to a full second as the Earnhardt Nation stood at the track and every NASCAR home in America. Then the selfishness of Denny Hamlin happened. Since losing the lead he had limped around the track now he simply just parked in the middle of it with a flat tire. Any other driver, except maybe Kyle Busch, would of pulled into the pits laps ago and tried to salvage his day. NASCAR parked him for two laps but the damage was done. The yellow had been thrown and the full second lead of Junior's was now none on the restart.
As the green was thrown with a handful of laps to go Dale and Busch battled. Dale was high and Kyle was low. On the straight aways it was obvious the vaunted Toyota power could not out run Dale's Chevy. Off turn two it was a drag race. Junior was pulling him as they approached turn three. Now let me explain; at Richmond like every other NASCAR oval it is run counter clockwise. So as a driver enters turn three, or any other turn, they must turn left to stay on the track. Kyle Busch apparently didn't know this as replays showed him turning right and wrecking the National Guard 88 of Dale Earnhardt Jr's.
Afterwards he made excuses and Dale Jr wouldn't place blame. I am not as classy as Junior, I blame Kyle Busch. He wrecked Junior on purpose. There is no doubt. Fox announcers can say all they want but week after week we hear them say Busch has the best car control in NASCAR so it leaves only one explanation.
If Kyle can't win fairly he will wreck his opponent.
Dale Junior finished 15th and still is third in points.
Kyle Busch in the most unfair thing of all gathered enough points to move into first in points
By the way Clint Boyer won. Not the ending we hoped for but a lot better than weasley Kyle Busch winning.

Kyle Busch is an idiot
Kyle Busch is not a great driver. There is not a driver in NASCAR that can not do the things he does. They just choose to be safe. Race after race we sit through Fox, most notably Daryl Waltrip fawn over him like he is the second coming of The King. Then after about 75 % of the race is over he does something stupid and takes out drivers who may have won.
He should be sat down or better yet knocked down by NASCAR before a driver has had enough of his crap and gets a season suspension for rearranging his already ugly face.
This weekend he had the nerve to criticize young Steven Wallace for running into the back of him in the last laps of the Nationwide race then wrecks Dale Jr with four laps to go. Sure, like he said, Junior could of went higher and not turned left. Of course that would of meant driving through the wall and into the stands but it would have avoided contact with Busch. Busch you idiot, this is NASCAR, you know, the land of left turns.
Is it only me or is it time for Jimmy Spencer teach another Busch a good lesson? I truly believe Kurt Busch changed his attitude after Jimmy punched him in the face.
So Mr. Spencer, for the good of the sport, could you please bust him one in the nose from all of us?
